Trip to SPCA

To go to SPCA,
We all had to be in school by 6.30am
But.. there were a few complications so we only left at 7.00am

As you can see from the picture below.
Quite a few of them are already dozing off.

Still some of them are just so excited.
They see a camera they had to just POSE!

After a 20 minutes drive,
We finally arrived at SPCA center.
Everyone proceeded to get off the bus.

There was a big banner showing the reason why we're here
To help out with the Jumble Sale
So they can raise enought money to support SPCA

The lady working there didn't hestitate a second at all
She quickly got the boys to start working.
She got them to form a human chain to get the stuffs out.

The girls also got busy after that.
Sorting the clothes out and hanging them in an orderly manner.
Some clothes had to be hanged up nicely,
Whereas some just had to be laid out nicely.

Then,
The lady in charge gave us a short briefing.
It was on what to expect and what to do.
We had to keep an eye on the customers.
And also beware of theives.

After all the preparation,
The Jumble Sale begun at 9.30am
People kept going in and out.
Flipping through clothes trying to get the perfect fit.

Other than clothes,
Plastic and glass wares were on sales too.
Though handled by another group of volunteers.

Some others helped out at the counter.

The Southern Cross's Leo Club was also there to help out.

Some helped out with the feeding of the dog.

Finally,
It was time to go home.
Not going to leave without a group picture first!
Before we leave,
We have to check if everyone's in the bus.
Roll call!

A very successful trip to SPCA
I bet everyone had lots of fun there.
It was definitely a new experience for most.
Thought it was kind of tiring,
It was worth it, wasn't it?
See you next time!
