A Visit to Siddharthan Care Centre

10 Leos from Leo Club of SMK Damansara Utama visited the Siddharthan Care Centre on 18 of March, 2015 and carried out a cookie decorating activity with the children of the centre. The project OC was Leo Danny Lee.The members and the children had tons of fun decorating the cookies and the project gave the kids a chance to get creative and express themselves in their own unique way. ROAR!!

Wall Painting Project 2014

Leo Club of SMK Damansara Utama show their appreciation to the school by participating in a school service project, "Mural Painting Project" to celebrate the independence of our country. The Organizing Chairperson for this project is Leo Davern Diran, our school service director. We had to battle the sun as well as the rain to complete this project, but we are extremely proud as our hard work paid off, and we left a beautiful mural for the future generation of our school to enjoy. ROAR!!!

14th KL Alpha Leo Club's Joint Installation

On the 26th of July,

Leo Club of SMK Damansara Utama was involved in the KL Alpha Leo Clubs Joints Installation. We were part of the Organizing Committee of this event. Many of our members were installed as an official Leo member on that eventful day. It was an amazing experience that we all shared together. Hey guys!

After a short hiatus, we are now back to give you updates on the happenings and events going around in our amazing club!

SMKDU LEO's Annual Charity Dinner 2014

                      On the 13th of June 2014, We have held our 4th Annual Charity and 23rd Anniversary Dinner Celebration. This event took place in the vast hall of SJK (C) Puay Chai 2, Petaling Jaya. The theme for this years dinner was 'Hollywood Horror'. This event was planned by non other than the Organising Chairperson of this event, Leo Tan Tina together with her Assistant Organising Chairperson, Leo Sheryn Yeo and their committee members. This event would not have been a success without them behind the it all.

That concludes the amazing night we had. All in all we managed to raise a total of RM4000. The money raised was donated to 'Lions Eye Clinic' and the 'Kuala Lumpur Lions Renal Centre'. We would like to thank everyone who came to this event and we hope all of you had a blast! Till next year! :)

Innovative project - Painting shirts at the children's home! 5/4/14

On the 5th of April 2014, some of the Leos visited Rumah Impian, Taman Mayang. Each of the participating Leos partnered up with one of the 13 children there ranging from ages 8 to 17 years old and helped paint a white t-shirt for them to keep. The OC of this project was Shahshilan and the AOC was Tina :) We all had loads of fun bonding with the children.

Recycling Project! -29/3/14

On the 29th of March, Leos from Leo Club of SMK Damansara Utama carried out a recycling project in Damansara Utama's residential area. The OC of this project was Zi Yin. The project begun at 9a.m. and ended at 11.30a.m. Many Leos took part and work together to collect recyclable goods from the residents there. Earlier in that week, Leos went around the neighbourhood to distribute flyers, door-to-door as an early notice regarding our project. So when it came to collecting the recyclables, the residents were aware of our project and contributed as much as possible. All the Leos put in a lot of teamwork and with that we collected a lot of recyclable goods in such a short period of time. This recycling project serves as an Environmental Project. We hoped that our project has encouraged many to care more for our earth and build a habit to recycle. Something as simple as recycling could help change the world for the generations to come.Do your part to save the earth (: (Sorry for the lack of pictures,we were too engrossed in collecting the recyclable goods that we only took a few at the end!)
